Breeze-bred Daughter of Light the City Brings $900,000 at Fasig-Tipton Saratoga

A filly bred by Breeze Easy commanded $900,000 during today’s first session of the Saratoga Sale. Hip 49, a dark bay or brown filly by Medaglia d’Oro out of Light of the City, was purchased by Kerri Radcliffe, agent from the consignment of Eaton Sales, agent.

This filly is by the sire of top females like Rachel Alexandra, Elate, and Wonder Gadot. She is out of the Street Sense mare Light the City, winner of the Anokia S. and runner up in the Las Virgenes Stakes (G1). The third dam is graded stakes winner Very Special Lite, a track record-setting stakes winner who produced graded stakes winner Strategic Partner and multiple stakes-winner and track record-setter Richies Party Girl. The immediate family includes Grade 2 winning millionaire Two Step Salsa.

The filly is a March foal bred in Kentucky.
